Courageous Strides is a therapeutic riding program in Franklin County offering classes designed for veterans and people with special needs. We will have classes for individuals dealing with a variety of issues and conditions including bereavement, recovery, movement disorders, autism and more. Each class is 60 minutes in length and includes a variety of mounted and unmounted activities. Each class is $55 per hour and scholarship assistance, based on financial need, may be available. Private and semi-private classes are customized to meet the individual needs of our participants and may include:

* learning basic horsemanship; haltering, bridling, grooming

*connecting with the beauty of horses

* observing horses in their herds

*ground work including walking and leading 

* learning skills to progress to riding

* sessions customized to meet your needs

*drawing with horses for relaxation
